Not Bad

T'was pretty good, the main guitar riff was heavy, driving and really catchy.
For the heavyness of this song I think the drums lacked a bit. They certainly were solid and went with the song well, but I think some more pummeling double bass licks would have really completed this song.
The solo was pretty awesome, very long and quite original. By far the best part of the song. I really loved how you kicked in the wah petal part way through, it was used very well, nice job there.
Overall, it was a bit on the screamy side for my taste, but it was well done. And I always appreciate the tunes with lyrics. ;) A solid track, good work!

Pretty Good

I really loved the raspy sound this had. It is really loud and rough and the beat is driving and powerful, just like a good dance track should be. Yet on the other hand, the soft piano stuff you mixed in was really nice, too. The melody overall sounded great and was quite catchy.
The intro was a bit repetitive, but between the drums coming in and some of the subtle melodies you added it didn't get at all stale in my opinion.
My only criticism is that interlude part that comes in at around 52 seconds seems to come in too early, breaking up the song a bit. It would have sounded a bit better if you made another hard, fuzzy melody before it slowed down.
The transition from that quiet part to the rest of the song is great, though. I just think it would sound better a bit later in the track.
Overall, I really enjoyed listening, good job on this.

Yeah well, mainly i was trying to make Harddance. I think i did a decent job. Hard, Upbeat. The breakdown with the piano and pad was fun to make. I tried alot of different effects and such but in the end it would be too chaotic. lol so i deleted that.
Well, the intro sucks. I know. I've always been bad at making intro's and probably will be lol. I suspose i could make that part longer, where it all breaks off and such. Into a giant breakdown. But then again, i had no inspiration for such a think. I would really love to make one :D. I think you prefer longer tracks. With more motion and more slight hints of detail. This song is rushed and short. So that might explain something.

Thanks you liked it.

I love the windy sound, the beginning really gave me a strong image of wind gusting across the top of a quiet mountain top. Just thought I'd mention that. :P
The melody is very upbeat and well written to the point were it managed to stay interesting and fresh throughout the entire track.
The solo about 3/4 through the song was awesome. By far the best part of this song. It really had a shreddy feel to it, which is something that I LOVE to hear in a techno tune.
Overall an exciting track. The transitions were great and it was a good listen start to finish. I don't see any need for improvement here. Great work.

Thanks for the review. That's awesome that you saw imagery in it. The wind was actually really easy to create, just white noise with some modulation. So it's pretty awesome when people tell me what they "see" And it's different imagery each time :D

Though I find it kind of hard to believe that you couldn't find any need for improvement :P I still listen to it obsessively looking for faults but I can't really find any. Somehow that bothers me lol... I'm a perfectionist and I'm always looking for something to fix.

Powerful

Wow, this is really impressive. That hard, driving melody really kicks some serious ass, to put it simply. :P I really do get an "industrial" feeling from this song, it just sounds so frantic and busy. You really accomplished that goal. That fat, staticy effect with the wah-wah was also an awesome touch, too by the way.
The whole song has a solid, unified theme. Nothing got old or stale at any point throughout the song. The interlude-type part where you slowed it down was a nice change of pace and it lead up to the ending quite nicely.
Overall, an awesome track. My second 10/10. Truly lived up to the expectations of your 100th song! Great work!

Thanks, man! Great to hear that you liked it. Now the pressure's on to keep it up for submission 101 onwards. Maybe I could delete an old track and squeeze the 100th submission milestone for all it's worth for a second time. (lol jk)

Sounds Good

I really enjoyed this. The melody was quite funky and it really matched up well with the percussion. This long song really featured a ton of different sounds, but it managed to keep the same central feel throughout the whole track up until around 3:45. That transition seemed kind of abrupt and the whole song seemed to get so much lighter there, or something. It sounded good, but seemed slightly out of place in comparison to the rest of the song.
The track sounded really good, overall. I really enjoyed the listen.
Good work!

Cool

This was a very exciting song. The clapping hands and the people cheering in the beginning was a cool feature, I really liked that.
The melodies in this song were very well written. I felt like I had listened to about three songs by the time it had ended, yet I didn't really hear any bad transitions, everything seemed to flow pretty well.
Overall this song was all over the place, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. :P Lots of different sounds and melodies really kept me interested throughout the whole track. I enjoyed listening, good work. :)

Kind Of Sad...

I really liked how this started out so quiet and slowly and built up power and melody throughout the song. It had a very dark, brooding feel. I wouldn't go as far as to call it evil-sounding, but I saw it as very serious and sad.
Overall, everything was put together very well in this tune. Nothing sounded out of place or off in any way. I could really see this being used in a cinema scene in a video game, or in a serious flash work. It would contribute greatly in that context as it sets a great mood, yet it fits into the background nicely without drawing too much attention.
Great job with this, I really enjoyed listening.
And be sure to request your 100th with us, too! :D

Thanks, man. Personally, I love the music in videogames nowdays, a cutscene has huge emphasis on the music to draw out the emotion.
Cheers.

Original

ooo, I really enjoyed this. The piano was really beautiful and the rain and thunder in the background was so soothing, that is really an incredible combination. I personally don't think I've ever heard anything like that before, very original.
The drums coming into this song really gave it some power. I also noticed that the melody started to become much more upbeat. The transitions were really flawless in this track, everything just flowed so well.
Overall, I'd say this sounds great as it is. I had been thinking of things that you could possibly add, but I think that would start to drown out that awesome pitter-patter of the rain drops and the thunder that give this song its signature. It really sounds great as it is. Good work.

Thanks a bunch, I'm glad to hear you liked it. The fact that you find it original is important to me, so I'm glad you said that, as I tried hard to give it a unique sound. Thanks again :D

Great

Great trance tune. The overall sound quality of this was really quite amazing and professional. Everything flowed beautifully and nothing sounded out of place. The lead was fairly repetitive, but it didn't get at all stale. It was great, very catchy and fun to listen to throughout the whole song. I'm sure I'll have it bouncing around in my head for the rest of the time I spend writing this review, and then some! :P
The trance/techno style rolls on the snare drum were very assaulting. That, among some of the other effects you used really gave this song a lot of power.
Overall an excellent track. I'm at a loss to find ways to improve this. Great work!

Good Work

Nice, I really enjoyed this. It had a really pulsating feel to it, it got a little headbang going with me while writing this review. :P
The melody was quite upbeat and fun for the most part, but the little interlude in the middle sounded very dark in comparison. That contrast was very cool, it didn't sound out of place at all and it was a great addition to the song.
I thought it did get a bit repetitive, though. Adding another melody to this probably wouldn't hurt, just to mix things up a bit. Or maybe a solo-y type part toward the end, just to give the listener something fresh to really make the song complete.
Overall a good, fun track though. Good work!
