Fun

A pretty fun game here. Lemmings was the absolute first thing that came to mind. :P
The artwork was all very well done. The characters were drawn very well and the backgrounds were all very interesting, which gave this a much more professional feel. The animation was also very smooth which made the game easy to play.
The choice of music was good. The song was quite interesting and upbeat, which really matched the game quite nicely, I thought.
Overall an interesting puzzle game. Certainly award-worthy, congrats on that. Keep up the good work!

Good!

Nice, this was a good soundboard. The picture of Abe in the background was simple, yet it was all that was needed here. The buttons were well-made. With something like a soundboard having good graphics and a good presentation like this did goes a long way as there is usually no animation. This really delivered in that department.
The audio quality was very good and the phrases chosen were funny. Being a Simpson's fan myself, I really enjoyed re-visiting some of grandpa's most loveable moments. :P
My only idea for this would be to expand it. Make sections for all the main characters in the show and have a selection screen for each character right when you open the flash. That would really bring this form good to great.
Overall you did a nice job on this. It's everything a good soundboard should be. Good work!

Really Solid

I really enjoyed playing around in this. I liked how the directions were presented to you right when you started the game. The way the text box faded out was pretty sweet, too. Nice touch there. Overall, everything was presented in a way which made it easy to understand, even though there's a lot of different options in this game.
The biggest thing with me when it comes to a scene creator like this is options, and this had plenty of them. Lots of different weapons and backgrounds equals tons of different combinations, making the game much more enjoyable.
The audio was of good quality. The songs were pretty nifty. Being able to select between 3 songs/mute was a great feature.
Overall this is a solid scene creator game. Everything's very well explained, easy to navigate and use. I couldn't find anything that was overlooked in this. It looks like you really put some hard work into it. Good job!

Lol, I did put over 300 hours on this game. One of the things I did work a lot on was the user interface, I made sketches of it in about 1 month. I wanted it to be powerful, but still easy to use. Glad you found it easy to use. Thanks for your review!

T'was Alright

It Wasn't too bad. For someone who watches South Park the questions weren't too hard, yet some were challenging. I think that makes for a more enjoyable quiz game, opposed to something that is near impossible for the average guy to complete with 100%.
The little pictures after each correct answer were amusing, some of them gave me a little chuckle.
Though this is a good start, it still needs a lot of work. For starters, I would improve the backgrounds, the solid colors are a bit on the blah side. Also adding a more interesting font would spice it up a bit, too. Another suggestion I thought of would be a difficulty setting. I'd have the questions you have currently be the "easy" option. Making "medium" and "hard" quizzes would make the game more interesting for the real South Park freaks out there. :P
Overall, a good start, keep up the good work.

Alright

Not bad, it was simple, but a pretty fun time killer. It was very well presented, though I think it would do wonders for this game if you improved the graphics of the backgrounds and buttons a bit. Just the white screen was pretty blah.
The audio was good. You chose a good song for this, it was very catchy and didn't get old fast, which is always a plus.
Having a difficulty selection made this more enjoyable for everyone. Someone, instead of giving up on it if it had only one, hard skill level just might go back and try it on easy. Good feature there. Also, it may seem kind of obvious, but disabling the Tab cheat was a great move on your part. Cheaters not being able to cheat makes any game more challenging and fun.
Overall, though it could use some work with the graphics, it was a good, quality little game. Good work. :)

Thanks, this helped a lot. The new one has a menu background but has lost the difficulty selection.

Very Helpful

This was a solid tutorial, lots of good content. It may not have had all the bells and whistles that you'll see in some other tutorials, but the content was just as good, if not better and that's all that matters. :P
You really did a good job of taking someone who wants to learn how to animate sprites by the hand and showing them the step-by-step process of how its done. A lot of tutorials I've looked at skip out on certain steps, or explain things in a way that is a bit "hazy" but you managed to avoid that weakness. I enjoy writing walkthroughs for video games, so I know a good explanation when I see it! XP
The only tiny little criticism I have is with the audio. There is none! You should slap a good, catchy looping song in this thing and it will really be complete. :)
Overall, this was an above average tutorial for its content alone. You did a great job on this. Good work!

Thanks for the compliment :D. I know I should add audio, but just with a mute button for people who want it. This tutorial could help so many flash newbs with their spriting xD. Cool that you write walktroughs for games, I don't have the patience for that :P

Not Bad

I liked the way you set this game up. For its simplicity, the graphics were pretty good. It had a real "radar screen" feel to it, which made playing much more enjoyable.
As far as the game play goes, it was fairly challenging, but I think it would have been even more so if the targets moved randomly throughout all the levels. Having them stay on a set path makes it too easy to predict where it is going to go.
As far as how to improve, I would add some different targets, something maybe more interesting than a golden ball. Also An upgrade system would really take this to another level.
Overall, it wasn't a bad game, it was a solid attempt. I'd keep working on this. It does need some work, but I think you could have something pretty cool here if you add some more features to it.
-Good work

Different

This was pretty neat. Certainly not a flash that everyone could really get into, but that's besides the point. Your poetry was good, I enjoyed listening to it. You're also very good a reading poetry. I always thought that there was some talent to really being good at it. Overall it was a very original idea for a flash. The fact that you can choose scenarios as a viewer really makes it more interesting to watch, too. -Good job.

Vert responds:

Thanks for the review and the compliments. I agree that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think that a change of pace now and then is nice, right? Before this poem, I didn't feel that I was particulary good at reading poetry, but I have received quite a few remarks, including yours, saying as such... which is a nice thing to read for a once aspiring (amatuer) voice actor like myself.
Btw, because you go so as far as saying that it takes talent to read a poem, I feel extra special! Again, thanks for the review.

Fun

This was pretty cool. Some of this stuff I've never heard of before, so it was pretty neat to see some of these kinds of things I never have before. I couldn't get all the illusions to work for me, though. :( I never was good at those "stare at if for a minute and you'll see something" things... :/ I did enjoy it though, it's a pretty cool idea for a flash. -Good work.

Great Game

I really enjoyed playing this. The graphics were excellent and the movements were very smooth. Overall very clean-cut and professional. The music was also very nice and relaxing making this an even more enjoyable experience. I thought it was a very original concept for the avoider type game which you see tons of. Once again, I really enjoyed it. -Great job.
