I think I've seen enough of Corky's face now to make sleep impossible for at least the next...week. :P
This was actually pretty good. A bit more than I expected, anyways. Pretty good quality work by all 3 contributors, and very funny.
If I wasn't such a total flash newb you know that I would have made a part for this. :(
At least I took the time to pimp out his stats in my latest newspost. :P

"You spin me right round, baby, right round..." I'll have those verses looping in my head for some time, I'm sure. This flash was, how can I say, ridiculous. But it was for the most part what I expected --Simple, nothing dazzling, yet entertaining in its own way. The captions every so often kept me interested in the flash beyond the curiosity of how many times I could watch Sonic spin before passing out... I was glad to see it have an end, opposed to just a pointless, neverending loop.
Overall, it was kinda funny, I liked it. I have no idea why I'm reviewing right now, or why I chose this particular flash...Oh well.

Funny

lol Donkey Kong in an Arwing, now I've seen it all. :P It looks like you really put a lot of effort into the drawings of the ships, that really stood out, it looked very professional. The voice acting was also pretty good, though I think the use of some more sound effects would really improve this a lot.
I found that this flash's humor relied largely on jokes more than slapstick type comedy. I actually liked that, it was a nice change of pace.
Overall, I'd say that working on the story would really take this from good to great. If you could develop a really interesting storyline to accompany the humor that you've already established, you'd have something pretty impressive.
I enjoyed watching and the laughs. ;) Good work.

Thanks for the compliments on the ships, but that's actually my brother's work as seen in the credits. I've been trying to teach him how to work in flash and he's gotten good at the drawing for sure. Everything else though was me. Yeah the story could be improved, though this was just supposed to lead to a much larger project which the story's better.

haha, this was quite the short! The drawings of Pit were really good. That's really what stuck out to me the most in the art/animation department. Both the drawings and animation were very good and the audio and voice acting were top notch. I really couldn't find anything in need of work in this short.
The humor was very original and witty, I really liked the idea.
Overall, a high quality short that delivered a good, original, funny punchline. Nice work!

Yeah Pit took quite a bit of time to draw, and probably won't be going for that kind of quality in my upcoming works. It made the flash take a bit too long even though it is short. Glad you liked it and thanks for the review.

Nice Concept, But Needs Work

Hrm...Killing stick figures with a steak knife...I like it! :D For starters, I think you could have put a little more effort into the drawings. Maybe try using the line and circle tools to draw the stick figures so they're more neat-looking.
I think you could have done a lot more animating within the actual video. It seemed like you were making movements with the knife that you had intentions of synching to animation, but there was none. :(
Don't get me wrong, it isn't a bad idea. I'd keep working on these. I kinda like the stuff like this that mixes video with flash. Keep working at it!

[Ruptonia Trailer]

Not Bad

The drawings weren't the best, but the animation was smooth and easy to watch, it was certainly up to par there.
The story seemed to be a bit rushed to me. It was like something had already happened and I, as a viewer didn't know what. I know this is only a trailer, but having a little introduction before the main flash that describes to us what happened up to this point might be a good idea.
The voices seemed a little quiet, but the voice acting wasn't bad, everything was understandable. The sound effects sounded good and were synched up pretty good, too, but they tended to get a bit repetitive at times. Like when the bullets were firing, it had too much of a pulse, I think it would have sounded more authentic if it were in bursts.
Overall, it could use some work, but you did a pretty good job on this. Keep it up.

lol Nice

Very funny Corky, I lol'd a few times, at least. I usually don't care for the live action videos on Newgrounds, but I'll make an exception for you. ;) The lasers seemed to be of pretty good quality, and the sound effects were synched pretty well. That was a major plus. The only downside to this was the quality of the video, that could have been much better, though it did suffice. :P The acting skill was nonexistent, but of course that wasn't what you were going for! XP
The humor was really what stuck out to me here, the jokes were simple, yet effective. Nearly every scene had me laughing. Very funny.
Overall, a pretty good job, congrats. And kudos to yoshi for putting in the crappy preloader. Come on dude, there's totally better NG loaders out there than that. ;)
Congrats on your first solo flash, dude! You're on my fav author list. This flash is on my favs now, too. :)

I know the quality of the video sucked, but that's as best as I could get it without making the movie too small. Outstanding!

This was amazing, where the hell do I start?! The art and graphics were amazing. I loved your art style, it was so colorful and imaginative. The characters were really fun and animated. (No pun intended) :P The little girl was so cute it was sickening! XP The animation left nothing to be desired, everything was flawless in that department. Every once in a while, I see a flash that would be worthy of its own show on the Cartoon Network, and this is one of them. That is simply best way I can describe this flash.
The music fit into this flash perfectly and the voice acting was super professional. As with the graphics and animation, everything in the audio was near spotless.
What I was most impressed with in this was the humor. I laughed out loud, a lot. The humor was very rich and funny, without being at all lowbrow or violent. Great job with that.
Overall, you did an outstanding job with this. It was certainly more than deserving of the awards it won! AWESOME job!

I Like :)

This was pretty neat. I've always wanted to take a song I love and turn it into a music video in flash, I really like the idea.
The graphics were very simple, but that's not a bad thing. I think it looked better with the simplistic, black and white look, opposed to being really fancy. It compliments the classic-ness of the song quite well.
The fact that you repeated the scenes in your movie made sense because the song obviously repeats. (As most songs do). :P But another idea would be to make it more of a story that progresses throughout the course of the song to a conclusion.
My only criticism for this is the animation of the mouth could have been a little better. The option of subtitles was a good idea, but since the character is singing along with the song, I'd think it important to make sure it looks like he's forming the exact words that are being sung.
Overall it is a good idea, though, I enjoyed watching.

[The Pirate Collab]

This was awesome, guys. One of the best collabs I've ever watched. The graphics were awesome all around, all the artwork was really fun and the animation was as pretty and smooth as can be.
The way you put this together was really quite spectacular and witty. I loved the treasure map in the beginning and the message in a bottle at the end. The little game in the beginning was simple, yet very addictive, it was really an awesome addition to this flash.
The song chosen for this was great, really a perfect match. The lyrics really fit the theme of this collab to a tee and the upbeatness of the tune matched the fast pace of the animations.
The humor was funny, but not overly sidesplitting. I did laugh out loud a few times, though. Goat-Man's one with the little guy on the desert island had me almost in tears. XD
Overall this was a fine collab. Masterfully put together with awesome animation and good humor. It was certainly worth all the time you guys spent on it. Excellent work!
