Very Good

This was very nice. It sounded very fitting of a video game "town theme". It had that laid-back, lazy sound.
The guitar did make me think of Kakariko Village, but that's only because I'm a bit on the nerdy side. It really doesn't sound like any Zelda theme that I've heard.
This song has a nice, interesting sound, and it has that slight repetitive feel that a lot of video game songs have. It sounds good and fits into the background well without being at all annoying.
Just listening to the vibe this gives me, I think it would sound good in a Harvest Moon game, or something of the like. :P
Overall, it was an awesome little loop. I listened to it about 10 times while writing this review, and it didn't feel like it at all. That's really the essence of a good video game loop to me. :)
Great work!

Awesome!

I like how this song went from really light sounding to slowly and subtly becoming more deep and complicated. The transitions really just meld into one another using the drums and that repeating sound effect as a base. I really liked how you did that, it stayed really fresh and interesting throughout the whole song, which I thought was pretty amazing considering its long length. I didn't feel like I just got done listening to nearly 9 minuets of trance. And that's really saying something. :P
You did a great job on this. Lots of good, interesting melodies, and nothing seems like it's dragged out for too long anywhere in this long track. Really an interesting listen, great job.

Good Start

You've certainly got a good start here. The melody is catchy and the percussion solid. I would think that you could probably compress this a bit. There's many good, different sounding melodies in this song, but some of its individual parts seem to go on for quite a while, especially towards the beginning. This is a pretty long demo, so you certainly do have room to shorten it up in spots if you choose to.
I really like the second part of the track. It has such a spacey feel to it, that was really fun to listen to. :P
Overall you've got a lot of good sounds to work with here. I'm sure you wont have any problem making a great full version to this!

Great

This song was really all about the beat for me, which is really different for a classical song. I'm not even sure if I would call this a classical song if it weren't for the piano! :P Speaking of the piano, the melody was very nice. It really flowed right along with that great, solid drum beat quite nicely.
The strings also really added a nice second melody to the song that gave it some crucial depth.
I didn't feel like this song got old at all. It just flowed right along and was a fun listen all the way through. I really like this the way it is, I don't see the need to add/change anything. Really a nice change from some of the more in-your-face tunes you hear on NG. Nice work.

Thank you for noticing the difference between this song and a regular classical piece. Newgrounds doesn't have many different genres so I am forced to put this in the classical genre but hey, it's really awesome that you noticed the little differences. Thank you for the review.

Very Nice!

The combination of sounds was really great. The piano had a bit of a foreboding sound to my ears, yet the strings and the twinkley sounds gave it quite a serene, warm sound at the same time.
I must say the percussion in this song was a real surprise to me when it came in. You did do a good job of mixing in the percussion in this. Using a woodblock type thing for the snare gave it a much lighter sound, opposed to using a heavy-hitting snare drum. That really went along well with the overall sound of the song. At first I thought this would have sounded better without the drums, but the more I listened, the more the percussion really added to it.
Overall, I really enjoyed the listen. A really nice track.

Thank you. I used sidesticks to give it a subtler sound that went along with the flow of the piano. The bells...well, I had to add them to give the song a little extra something :D

Thanks again for the review.

Awesome!

I really enjoyed this song, it was just so happy sounding! :D The melodies are very well written and diverse, nothing got old here, not even for a second. The transitions were also near flawless, I could keep my foot tapping throughout the whole track. Nothing felt at all the slightest bit out of place.
I've heard the thunder/rain effect before, and I really like it a lot. It really worked with the piano melody here to make an awesome sound.
This was a really fun track, I've got no negative points to list about this one. What a great sound!

Wow thanks a bunch, glad that you enjoyed it. Its wierd, half the reviews are saying it got repetitive and half commended the song for being non-repetitive. Ah well, its cool that you liked it. Thanks for ther review :D

Great!

The beginning of this just radiated a proud and dark sound. I loved how you were able to speed up the pace, but still keep that slow melody in the background going without it sounding too out of place.
That grinding sound effect sounded like something used in a Linkin Park song, that was an awesome effect that really added a lot of power to the song.
By the time I was done listening, I couldn't really distinguish this as a fast, or slow tune! It really had such a great mix of paces to it, yet it sounded really cool.
Overall I found it very original. Some of these trance-style songs I listen to just meld into each other, but this really stands out to me. You did a good job mixing the trance/classical sounds together. I enjoyed the listen, great work!

Good Start

You're right, this song had tons of good melody, but it seems like the way that it is presented could have been a bit better. Like at 0:22 it just feels like the song should explode into an upbeat main theme, where instead it seems to start over with another intro-type piece. The transition to the ending at around 1:40 was quite abrupt and didn't really flow with the part before it, too. I would take a look at that.
Once again, you've got some really good melodies here, I would spend some more time refining this and working on the transitions and you'll have something really good. :)

Not Bad

The melodies in this song were quite cool, it has a very frantic, fast paced sound. The whole song had a unified theme and the transitions were strong. My only criticism is that it tended to get a bit stale at times. Like the way you kept the same melody going, but raised the pitch. That kept the song from being too scattered, but it also got a bit repetitive further along in the song, too.
I'd say either mix it up a bit more of shorten it by a bit. You could certainly shorten it and not lose anything by doing so.
I think it could use a bit of revision before it reaches its true potential, but overall it was a solid tune and a good listen. Nice work. :)
